A: Registering for a course at STA is simple:

Click on the tab Courses
Choose the course of choice
Click on Training Schedule & Registration
Choose a course date and click on Register
Fill out the 3-step Registration Process*

* You may choose between paying online (via Secure Server) or receive a payment form via email

Q: What payment methods are available at STA

A: You can pay your course using the following methods:

credit cards via secure server.
payment form (sent to you via email)
Cheque or Money order or Purchase Order (PO)

Q: Once I pay via credit card, what will appear in my credit card statement ?

A: Payments to STA may appear in your credit card statement as "SOFTACAD" or "The Learner Center" (Software Training Academy is part of "The Learner Center Group).

Q: How does Instructor-Led Virtual Classes (ILOT) work ?

A: Instructor-Led Virtual Classes (ILOT) are training classes delivered via Web with a Live Trainer during all the time, as though they were in-person classes. More and more students have opted for this convenient and cost-effective learning mode. Click here for details about ILOT.

Q: What time do Intructor-Led Virtual classes start and end ?

A: Instructor-Led Virtual Classes start at 10am and end at 5pm ET (US) for students in North America or in your timezone* if outside North America.

Q: Is Distance Education (Virtual Classes) for me ?

A: Why would it not be ? Skepticism towards virtual classes is not unusual mainly because most of us have attended in-person classes since childhood. Technology has drastically changed this and allowed us to deliver the same as in-person classes however via Internet. Most of our students were very satisfied with their new experience. Many have said they will not sit in a brick-and-mortar classroom again. You may want to give it a try. It is risk-free and you will be impressed by the results. However, at STA, we respect your choice and all courses are offered in-person and virtually.

Q: What equipment is necessary for Instructor-Led Virtual Classes ?
