Marc has over 10 year-experience in the Software Development fields. Throughout his career, Marc has been working for a variety of companies, from small to large ones, either as an employee or consultant. He is currently Chief of Architecture at Alliance Information Technology and Lead IT Corporate Trainer at Software Training Academy (www.SoftwareTrainingAcademy.com). Marc has delivered corporate training and seminars throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Brazil, and Ukraine among others. He has been also delivering Instructor-Led Online Classes and Webinars for IT professionals as well as training corporate trainers the art of teaching face-to-face and online. Marc has authored and co-authored IT Courseware along with a distinguished group of IT Instructional Designers (http://www.ObjectInnovations.com/Authors/index.html) Academically, Marc holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science; graduate studies in Software Engineering, Internet and Distributed Systems using Heterogeneous Databases. Marc also holds a Bachelor of Education Degree focusing in Adult Education from Canada (a leading country in Adult Ed). Marc is currently pursuing his Master Degree in Education (Distance Education) and MBA at University of Maryland, USA.

Raphael Scapin, PhD

Raphael Scapin has been involved with e-learning since 1996. During his doctorate he developed a hierarchical computational environment to facilitate the creation, organization and management of courses to be available over the Internet . The environment had a specialist system for the treatment of online doubts called Online Doubt Managing System (ODMS), using the concept of Education Intelligence through the use of data mining, making it possible for instructors to select data , analyze information, identify trends and take decisions during a course delivered via Web. This research was published at The American Journal of Distance Education (SCAPIN, R. H.; MAREGA JR., EUCLYDES: Proposal of a Web-Based Doubt-Managing System for Courses via Internet . The American Journal of Distance Education, Vol. 14, No. 3, November 2000.") Raphael holds a B.S. degree in Physics and a MSc and Ph.D in Computational Physics. He has worked as a professor and IT Professional since 2002, teaching Physics and Computer Science and also training students and professors in using Moodle. He has also worked as an E-learning Coordinator at private colleges. He is an expert in open source LMS´s, like Moodle, ATutor, Dokeos and also open source CMS´s, like Joomla, Drupal.
