STA CO-OP Program:

Get your hands dirty on Real-World projects    

Once you finish one of our career tracks, you will have the opportunity to put your recently acquired knowledge into practice, working in-person or remotely in one of many projects carried out by our sister company, AllianceIT, and its partners.

• Work in real-worl projects in your career of choice
• Get to know and work with seasoned developers and experienced people. This is "networking"
• Acquire the market experience you need
• Get an official AllianceIT reference letter

1. Students who have expressed their interest in our CO-OP program will be offered the opportunity to join in one of our development teams (*)


2. Student is assigned a mentor (experienced team leaders or project managers).


3. student's role in the project is discussed with her manager. A mutually agreed work plan is set out.


4. Student is given frequent feedback and directions based on her performance and achieved results.


5. By the end of the co-op work, student receives a detailed report based on her work, including what went very well, well and potential area(s) for improvement


6. Student is given a reference letter and allowed to use AllianceIT (or partner companies) name in her resume, job interviews, etc.

(*) STA does not guarantee CO-OP placements

(**) CO-OP positions are offered based on student's performance along his/her program of choice.

(***) STA reserves the right to deny reference letter to those who do not meet minimum requirements during his/her CO-OP position
